Terms of Use

1. Overview

Welcome to Pop It, Please! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform for facilitating secure payment and transaction processes between parties ("the Service"). By using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations of South Africa.

2. Nature of Service

Pop It, Please! is a payment facilitation platform. We are not a licensed financial services provider, bank, or escrow agent as defined under South African law. We provide a neutral holding and release mechanism for payments between parties subject to agreement terms.

3. User Responsibilities

Users are fully responsible for providing accurate and truthful information at all stages of using the Service. You agree to comply with any contractual agreements entered into with other parties via the platform and to cooperate fully with Pop It, Please! in the event of a dispute.

4. Transaction Process

Users initiate transactions by entering transaction details and requesting payment from the counterparty. Once the counterparty approves and funds the transaction, the funds are held securely pending confirmation or resolution of any disputes.

5. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement between parties, both parties must submit any supporting evidence and communication to Pop It, Please! via the designated email channel. Our internal dispute team will review the evidence and make a determination in good faith and at our sole discretion. While we aim to resolve matters fairly, we cannot guarantee complete satisfaction for all parties.

6. Release of Funds

Funds will be released in accordance with the outcome of the dispute resolution process or mutual agreement by both parties. Pop It, Please! accepts no legal liability for any losses suffered by either party as a result of a decision made by us in the discharge of our neutral facilitation role.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, or the purchase or sale of illegal goods or services. Any violation will result in immediate account suspension and reporting to the relevant authorities.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pop It, Please! disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Amendments

Pop It, Please! reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
