Either party initiates a transaction and enters the agreement details. Once both parties agree, payment is made into a secure account. The funds are held until both parties confirm successful delivery of goods or services, or a resolution is reached in the case of a dispute.
No. Pop It, Please is a facilitation service. We are not a registered financial services provider or licensed escrow agent under South African law. We act as a neutral platform to securely hold funds pending agreement completion.
Yes. All payments are processed through leading payment providers using secure encryption technology. We do not store your full card or bank details. Personal information is protected in compliance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).
After payment, you will receive a Payment ID and Reference Number by email. You can verify your payment at any time using our secure verification page.
Once both parties are satisfied, you can use your Reference Number to confirm completion of the transaction on our secure Sign Off page. Once signed off, funds will be released to the designated party.
Both parties may submit documentation and evidence by email to our dispute resolution team. We will review the evidence and make a final decision on where the funds should be released. Our decision is made in good faith and is binding.
You must provide complete and accurate information, comply with all agreed transaction terms, and cooperate fully if a dispute arises. Misuse of the platform may result in termination of your access.
Once a decision has been reached by Pop It, Please, funds are immediately released to the designated party. Our decision is final and we do not accept further liability for dissatisfaction with the outcome.
You will be required to provide personal details such as your name, email, transaction details, and in some cases banking or identification information to verify your identity in accordance with regulatory requirements.
We follow strict data security measures and use industry-standard encryption and secure storage protocols. We comply with the POPIA requirements of South Africa to protect your personal information at all times.
We update our legal policies as needed to reflect legal changes or improvements in our platform. We will notify users of material changes before they take effect.
